H.D.S. Cu Class EA 500 MHz, shielded with LED blinking function

The Cu High Density System is designed for copper connections in data centers. It is ideal for cabinet-to-cabinet connections or attaching consolidation points. This pre-assembled solution with six RJ45 connections in the trunk cable is designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet transmission and conforms to Class EA acc. to ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173-1. The cables are pre-assembled at both ends with 6-port H.D.S. modules and are delivered in any length up to 50 meters together with test reports. After installation, both 6-port modules are simply mounted into an H.D.S. installation frame in the distributor cabinet or the floor box. Up to 168 RJ45 ports on 3 height units can be connected, i.e. up to 18 ports in the sub-floor installation. In the event of maintenance, the module housing can be opened and the individual Keystone jacks can be replaced as needed, without the need to cut and re-assemble a cable.
The integrated LED function indicates the matching removed cable end for all H.D.S. links. To do so, the user touches the module on one side of a H.D.S. link to an LED detector, and will then see the matching module light up on the link side that has been removed. This significantly simplifies repatching when performing maintenance.

H.D.S. Indoor cable Cat.7 6 x (4x2xAWG24/1) S/FTP for simple cabinet-to-cabinet cabling in data centers and multi-connection of server rooms to sub-distribution. The cable assembly consists of 24 pair-shielded cable elements, with each 4 pairs combined into a strand. Each stranding element is provided with a range of numbers for easier identification. The flexible central strain relief provides very good protection for the cable during installation. The sheath is made of a flexible LSOH material. The pilot cores are AWG 28/7.

After installation, both 6-port modules are simply mounted into an H.D.S. installation frame in the distributor cabinet or the floor box. Up to 168 RJ45 ports on 3 height units can be connected, i.e. up to 18 ports in the sub-floor installation. In the event of maintenance, the module housing can be opened and the individual Keystone jacks can be replaced as needed, without the need to cut and re-assemble a cable.

The H.D.S. preLink® is designed for copper connections in data centers. It is ideal for cabinet-to-cabinet connections or attaching consolidation points. This pre-assembled solution with six RJ45 connections in a braided hose is designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet transmission and conforms to Class EA acc. to ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173-1. The cables are pre-assembled at both ends with 6-port H.D.S. modules and are delivered with prelink® terminal blocks, the connector length on the preLink® module side is freely customizable. The H.D.S. preLink® trunk cables are bundled in any length up to 30 meters (single cable up to 90m) and are delivered with test reports. After installation, the H.D.S. 6-port module is simply mounted into an H.D.S. installation frame in the distributor cabinet or the floor box. The preLink® terminal blocks are placed in the preLink® housing of your choice (See chapter: preLink® Modules). Up to 168 RJ45 ports (on the H.D.S. side) on 3 height units can be connected, i.e. up to 18 ports (H.D.S. side) in the sub-floor installation. In the event of maintenance, the module housing can be opened and the individual Keystone jacks can be replaced as needed, without the need to cut and re-assemble a cable.

H.D.S. / RJ45 DualBoot® Trunk System

The H.D.S. system with direct RJ45 connection particularly offers High Density Racks (e.g. IBM® iDataPlex® rack systems) clean, uncluttered Ethernet connections from servers to connections to network switches. The RJ45 jacks can be positioned directly at server height. As a result, only short patch cables (e.g. PushPull) are required for the connection. The result: Network component maintainability is significantly enhanced thanks to improved access. The bulk of the Ethernet cable harness runs inside the rack, which means space in traditional cabling areas is left available, e.g. for Infiniband.
