DualBoot® LED patch cables have been specially developed for use in offices, industrial facilities and data centers. The rugged cable design ensures that electrical transmission parameters can only be affected by the use of physical force. The use of a special combination shield (PiMF + braided shield with 65% covering) and 360° shielded RJ45 plugs provides maximum data transmission reliability. The patented method for simple assignment of the plugs to each other significantly increases operating reliability, which makes accidentally pulling apart the patch cables virtually impossible. Both RJ45 housings are optically excited and light up following contact of a patch cable end with the detector. Service mapping may also be effected at a later point in time via the application of color coding. An RFID chip can also be added for automatic network detection.

The DualBoot® LED patch cable was developed especially for the use in offices, industry and computer centers. The cable design guarantees that the electrical transfer parameters offer a maximum of data security. The patented process for the easy mapping of the plugs to each other significantly increases the operating safety, an unintended pulling of the patch lines is almost impossible. Both RJ45 housings will be optically excited and are therefore illuminated after contact establishment of one patch cable side with the detector. The service assignment can be made retroactively by attaching a color marking. In addition, an RFID can be retrofitted for an automatic network identification. The suitable detector can be found on page 94. The use of a detector that is not approved can result in the destruction of the DualBoot® LED patch cable.

DualBoot® LED Detector Pro
Detector for the feed into the DualBoot® LED patch cables and FO-LED patch cables for the identification of the plug ends. The detector will be plugged into the intended contact pairs at the RJ45 plug and the button will be actuated to activate the light at the patch cable. The selection of four operating modes is possible by repeated actuation. To charge the battery, the detector will be plugged into to a USB interface using the accompanying USB micro cable.
